Welcome Message from

Rev Dr. Darnell V. Ranson, Pastor, and Founder

Welcome to the Bethlehem Baptist Church website. I am glad you have chosen to spend a few moments looking around, and discovering our church family. As I describe Bethlehem to people, I use words like ‘community’ and ‘family.’

We are a group of people committed to following Jesus. That means we worship him with vigor and joy. That means we encourage prayer in church and throughout life. That means we love people outside the church through generosity, invitation, and compassion.

We hope that all people will feel loved and welcomed at Bethlehem. And once here, we pray that people will meet God and as a result of meeting God, give their lives to Jesus Christ. We want that for you. Come as you are. Check us out, but more importantly, seek the truth of God that can only be known when one knows Jesus.

While you are browsing our website, you will learn about our programs and get a glimpse of who we are, but only a glimpse. To fully understand us, come to a worship service or to a small group and feel the up-close, in-person fellowship that comes when people share time together with the Holy Spirit present. Enjoy the website, then come. We’d love to meet you and know you.

Morther's Day Service May 10th

Welcome to Bethlehem Baptist Church for our Mother’s Day Service on May 10th! at 11 AM

Good morning and blessings to every one of you. On behalf of our pastor, church leadership, and the entire Bethlehem Baptist Church family, we warmly welcome you to this special time of worship and celebration. Today, we gather with grateful hearts to honor and uplift the incredible women in our lives—our mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, aunties, mentors, and all who have nurtured, guided, and loved us with unwavering strength.

Mother’s Day is a beautiful reminder of the compassion, sacrifice, and faith that mothers embody each day. We thank God for the powerful role they play in shaping families, strengthening communities, and planting seeds of love and wisdom that last a lifetime. Whether your mother is with you today, watching from afar, or resting in the arms of the Lord, we take this moment to celebrate her impact and legacy.

To all the mothers present, today is for you. We honor your dedication, your prayers, your resilience, and your unconditional love. You are truly a blessing, and we thank God for you.

As we enter into this service, we invite you to open your hearts, lift your voices, and join us in worship. May you feel encouraged, inspired, and surrounded by God’s love.

Happy Mother’s Day, and welcome to Bethlehem Baptist Church!

Easter Sunday April 5,2026

Welcome to Bethlehem Baptist Church as we gather in joyful celebration of Easter Sunday! We are truly honored and blessed that you have chosen to worship with us on this sacred and meaningful day. Whether you are a long-time member, a first-time visitor, or joining us again after some time away, we extend to you a warm and heartfelt welcome.

Today, we rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—a powerful reminder of hope, renewal, victory, and everlasting love. Easter is a time to reflect on God’s grace, celebrate new beginnings, and embrace the promise of life made new through Him.

As we come together in praise, prayer, and fellowship, we pray that you feel the presence of God in this place. May the message, the music, and the spirit of worship uplift your heart and strengthen your faith. Our desire is that you leave here encouraged, inspired, and reminded that you are loved, valued, and never alone.

Welcome again to Bethlehem Baptist Church—where faith is strengthened, hope is renewed, and love abounds. Happy Easter!

Good Friday Service

Welcome to Bethlehem Baptist Church’s Good Friday Service. April 3, 2026 @ 11AM

We gather on this sacred day with hearts humbled and spirits attentive, remembering the profound sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Good Friday is a solemn yet powerful moment in our faith—a time to reflect on God’s immeasurable love, His mercy, and the redemption made possible through Christ’s suffering.

As we come together in worship, prayer, and reflection, we invite you to set aside the distractions of the week and enter into this holy space with reverence. Whether you are joining us in person or from afar, you are part of this family, united in remembrance and hope.

Today, we will walk through the story of the cross—through scripture, song, and message—pausing to consider the weight of the sacrifice and the depth of God’s grace. Though Good Friday carries the heaviness of sorrow, it also points us toward the promise of resurrection and the victory that is to come.

May this service draw you closer to God, renew your faith, and remind you that even in the darkest hour, His love endures.

Welcome, and may the peace of Christ be with you.
